Membership at NAKI

Any intending member applies in writing for a category of membership, and signs a declaration form once the Chairman confirms eligibility.

Choose the category that fits your journey.

Registration and annual fees vary by category and are set by the Governing Council.

Fellow Member

New members; first 3 years, promotion reviewed by Standards & Ethics sub-committee.

Registration: KES 10,000
Annual subscription: KES 5,000
Probation period: 3 years

Full Member

Practiced 3 years as Fellow Member, fulfilling all bye-law conditions.

Registration: -
Annual subscription: KES 5,000

Life Member

Full/Founder members approved by AGM; one-time fee.

One-time fee: KES 25,000

Corporate Member

Institutions declared Corporate Members per the constitution.

Registration: KES 10,000
Annual subscription: KES 5,000

Founder Member

Persons/firms duly registered on or before 31 Jul 2004.

Registration: -
Annual subscription: KES 5,000

Honorary Member

Recognized by Governing Council for eminence or service to the Association.

Before you apply

Requirements for registration

Depending on your category, you will need to submit the following with your application.

Application checklist

A duly filled application form
Copy of Insurance Regulatory License
A recommendation from an existing NAKI member (new applicants)
Company registration certificate (Corporate members)
Company profile (Corporate members)
5 years' experience in the investigation field (where applicable)

Review

The membership committee verifies eligibility, references and supporting documents.

Welcome

On approval you sign the declaration form and are admitted to the Association.
